I think changing the boiler is only the beginning of saving money on heating bills. Ensuring that the heat settings are set properly and controls are correctly set will ensure more money is saved.

The WhisperGen generates 1kW for 7kW of heat per hour as does the Baxi Ecogen. In total the WhisperGen can produce 12.5kW, but this includes supplementary heat. In total the Baxi Ecogen can produce 24kW of heat but again this includes supplementary heat.

The Baxi Bermuda 401 is a Band G boiler and is eligible for the boiler scrappage scheme currently running in England. We are still waiting for the Scottish and Welsh scheme details to be provided. we have a 401 Baxi back boiler and itis still in good working order so could you tell us if we could apply for the scrapage system and if so would we save on our gas bills we are both OAP the boiler is about 20 years old

We have a Baxi Bermuda 552 back boiler,can you tell me please if it qualifys for boiler scrappage.
